Dr Reynolds may be a competent doctor, but he is participating in a mass production line with surgeries. I suspect the issue is not of his choosing, but a result of our health care system and the way Guthrie is dictating to surgeons. I was told to arrive at the hospital at 12:30 pm for my surgery...but didn't know that my actual surgery wasn't scheduled until 5 pm. I don't think it takes a very keen brain to know the odds are against someone having surgery at the end of a long day. During my 2 day hospital stay, I only saw Dr Reynolds for less than a minute both days....with promises to return later in the day (both of which never happened). So far, I am not disappointed with the results of my surgery, but I am keenly disappointed at the lack of genuine care. I have not received any calls to determine my status post op either. It is not unusual to wait over two hours for a scheduled office appointment, once again, reiterating the mass production line, and not the individual care of the patient. For someone with his skill level, it is disappointing that he has chosen this path of providing such impersonal care.
